On March 13th, our community in Colorado Springs and El Paso County was hit by a record-breaking blizzard that left hundreds of homes and commercial businesses damaged and vulnerable. In fact, we made national news by reaching all-time high wind speeds in Colorado, and it was those 96-mph winds that many of us felt mid-blizzard that has dubbed this storm a “Bomb Cyclone.”

The hurricane-strength winds wreaked havoc throughout Southern CO by ripping trees from their roots, destroying roof shingles and siding, throwing fences far from their yards, and much more. As a local roofing and construction company in Colorado Springs, we were on the scene as soon as the weather permitted to lend a helping hand to our neighbors.

Over the 12 years that we’ve been in business, Victory “1” Roofing and Construction has repaired just about every type of damage nature can bring over the years. We are licensed and insured, and we work with all insurance companies when it comes to storm damage claims. Our team has the experience to give immediate and effective assistance, especially during the aftermath of this storm.

Below are just a few of the hundreds of storm repairs we’ve been providing to residential homes and businesses over the past few weeks. We are proud to provide transparent estimates and temporary fixes as necessary in order to get our community back to normal as soon as possible. If you are still in need of a storm damage repair estimate, contact us here.

Fence Repair After Storm:

Wind gusts destroyed fences across many neighborhoods in Falcon, Colorado Springs, Fountain and Monument. As both a roofing and construction company, we were able to repair damaged fences, replace rotting posts, and more for homeowners. We are still providing fence repair services to Colorado Springs, so please contact us if you are still needing an estimate.

Deck Repair:

Alongside the fences that were damaged by the storm, many decks faced the same problem both from the wind and the uprooted trees. From broken boards and deck rails, to damaged structural supports and joists, Victory “1” Roofing is out repairing decks so that they are safe, sturdy, and up-to-code.

Roof Wind Damage:

As a local roofing company, our primary specialty is installing, repairing, and replacing roofs on residential properties and commercial buildings. After this storm hit, many shingles were torn off from the high-powered wind, leaving the roof deck and underlayment vulnerable to the Colorado weather.

The loss of shingles, combined with broken limbs, debris, and fallen trees, this wind damage caused roof leaks, drafts, attic damage, insulation damage, and more due to the exposed structures.

Unsure if the storm affected your roof? Check out our guide on how to tell if your roof is damaged.

Emergency Tree Removal:

One of the biggest, most emergent problems that Colorado Springs homes and businesses faced was fallen trees. During the blizzard, many trees got blown over onto roofs, flattening fences, tearing down siding, and threatening internal structures. At Victory “1” Roofing and Construction, we prioritize our client’s safety above all. Fallen trees can cause serious problems that need to be addressed immediately, which is why we have been sending our team to perform emergency tree removal to El Paso County.

If a tree has fallen on your house after a storm, call Victory “1” Roofing and Construction. As licensed contractors, we safely remove trees and repair the damage done.

Attic Inspections After Storm:

Another haphazard side-effect of fallen trees and damaged roofs is the impact on the attic of the home. From broken rafters to leaks that can ruin insulation, a storm can cause serious damage to your attic.

That’s why we are offering attic inspections along with roof inspections after the storm. We’ve helped homeowners repair the damage and replace insulation, making sure that no more moisture gets in, that mold doesn’t develop, and that no more structural damage happens.

Victory “1” Roofing and Construction takes a comprehensive view of your roof when we perform inspections, and that includes your attic. Contact us today if your roof was damaged by the storm.
